Half day seminar explores skills recruitment overseas
31 January 2008
Seminar for businesses with skill shortages
Vision Manawatu and Immigration New Zealand are hosting a free half day seminar for local businesses considering attracting overseas talent to fill their skill shortages.
The seminar will deliver practical knowledge about the immigration and recruitment process, and present local case studies and success stories. It will be held at the Novotel on 14 February from 2.30pm until 5pm.
Vision Manawatu CEO Andrew Powrie said, “This is a key event for businesses that need skilled staff to remain competitive. I will be providing information about the Skills Expo in London and Leeds in April, where Vision Manawatu will have a presence. I am keen to find out more about the region’s vacancies and what we can do as an agency to attract the people with the skills that businesses need.”
To register for this event, please contact Vision Manawatu on 350 1830.
