Expo Buyers Wanted

The 24th annual Indonesian Trade Expo 2009 will be held in Kemayoran Fair Ground, Jakarta from 28 October - 1 November 2009.

The Office of Ethnic Affairs is assisting The Indonesian Embassy, economic division to identify up to ten potential buyers from New Zealand to attend the expo. Indonesian Trade Expo organised by the National Agency for Export Development(NAFED), and the Department of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, is the largest trade exhibition in Indonesia. It offers a wide range of world-class quality export products from high technology and strategic industries and provides an opportunity to meet Indonesian manufacturers directly.

The Office of Ethnic Affairs and The Indonesian Embassy will jointly nominate between five and ten potential New Zealand businesses, to attend the above Trade expo by offering:

Five nights free accommodation at Jakarta's Four Star Century Hotel; free local transportation for a five-day stay and assistance in coordinating meetings with Indonesian business counterparts, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) and others institutions by request.
