Tertiary Education in Palmerston North

Vision Manawatu conmmissioned an economic impact study into wide spread benefits of the tertiary education sector in Palmerston North, in 2006.

The Infometrics study was completed in August 2007 and reveals that the tertiary sector comprises more than 16% of the city's economy (compared with 4% in Wellington) and that its total added value in 2006 was $491m (including GST).
