Trades Graduation 2010
The Trade Graduation is an invitation only event officiated by the Mayors from Palmerston North, Manawatu, Rangitikei and Tararua regions. The Mayors present certificates of appreciation to people who have undertaken training through Industry Training Organisations (ITO’s)
Celebrating the success of people who gain practical qualifications and the businesses who support training, raises the profile of the many types of trade and technology qualifications. Caregivers to carpenters, water treatment technicians to pharmacy assistants, the list of graduate’s occupations is wide.
This event starts at the Regent with drinks and nibbles for graduates, family and employers and ITO Reps and moves into the theatre for the award ceremony.
If you gained a level three qualification or higher between 1 Jan and 31 December 2009 and live in the regions listed you will receive an invitation to the graduation in March 2010. You are warmly invited to join the celebrations at the Regent Theatre on 30 April 2010
Trades Graduation 2009
This year 85 apprentices completed their training and attended the Trades Graduation Ceremony at the Regent Theatre in Palmerston North. More than 550 family and friends watched the ceremony - a record number.
