As a strong supporter of the Manawatu region, Alan is working with staff and stakeholders to expand business in the area.

Alan has a University Degree in Accountancy as well as extensive networks and experience from leading and managing national companies in transport related and roading construction industries. Key areas of experience include strategic positioning and organisational change, as well as operational and administrative management to board of director level. 

Alan subscribes to the statement that Palmerston North and Manawatu has a great central hub location and is a great place to raise a family.

Jacqui Middleton - Operations Manager

Operations Manager Jacqui Middleton was born and bred in Palmerston North so is committed to the success of the region.

Jacqui has a NZ Diploma in Business, a Diploma in Human Resources, NZIM Diploma in Management, and over 15 years experience in operations, finance, office management and administration specialising in systems and process management.  

With two grown children, Jacqui loves that in Palmy you can have both a successful career and bring up a family in a great environment.

Peter Ellingham - Regional Business Advisor - Research & Development

Peter has worked within general management of healthcare & science technology companies, commercial real estate, sales and marketing roles with international biotechnology companies, experience in quality assurance and quality control, laboratory management, and agricultural and horticultural research. The breadth of knowledge that Peter brings to Vision Manawatu is vast, and will be extremely valuable to all that he works with.

Born and bred in rural Manawatu, Peter has a genuine desire to help businesses and enterprises grow and prosper in our region.

Karen Blair - Regional Business Advisor

Karen Blair is a Regional Business Advisor and the local coordinator for Business Mentors New Zealand.

After 21 years in Banking with the past 10 in Business Banking it was time for change.  Karen has now been here at Vision Manawatu for over 2 years, and is an extremely valued member of the team.

Karen's passion is living the "Good Life" in the country on the outskirts of Palmerston North and believes the epitome of living in our area is our proximity to either the city or country life, the best of both worlds right here on our door step.

Amy Jacobs - Business Support & Communications Coordinator

Business Support & Communications Coordinator Amy Jacobs is a new addition to Vision Manawatu, as well as also being a new resident to Palmerston North.

Amy has vast experience within different Administration and Customer Service based roles. After living in Wellington her whole life, she made the big move to Manawatu earlier this year and is enjoying the peaceful lifestyle and friendly people it has to offer.

Amy also has a strong passion for Photography and Design. She prides herself in having a fresh and creative way of thinking which she is excited to incorporate into her new role.

Kerrie McFadyen - Communications Coordinator

With experience gained through marketing and communication roles, this sparked an interest to study the topics further. Kerrie has only 1 semester left before completing her Bachelor of Business Studies, with a double major in Marketing & Communications, and is very much looking forward to providing real value in her role to not only Vision Manawatu, but to the wider business community.

Cara French - Office Administrator

Cara French has the distinction of being Vision's longest serving employee (14 years) as the Office Administrator.

Vision staff value Cara's efficieny and helpful nature, ability to know the history of the organisation, what worked and what didn't, and where, for goodness sake, everything is.
