Our Vision

Our strength and success are derived from our shared determination to build partnerships between our settlers, and other key players who share our ambitions for our area.

More recently we signed 5 year relational contract between Vision and Palmerston North City Council, Manawatu District Council and Destination Manawatu. Our shared premise is to work collaboratively for the betterment of the region. Our commitment is to 'join the dots' to ensure the best result for our region.

To that end, Vision led the development of a shared strategy for the region which identifies key development areas across social, economic and environmental areas.

Our shared vision and goals, coupled with an enhanced collaborative approach allows for a strong sense of direction and traction for our 10 year strategy, with outcomes that are undoubtedly challenging but which reflect our strengths, ambitions and global opportunities

Vision's key responsibility within the strategy was to lead its development, work with partners to share implementation planning, and to make it happen.

To that end, we have enjoyed considerable support from a range of businesses and organisations who share our ambitions to be the best place in New Zealand to raise a family;
